Course Overview


This course is a production of a recent live webinar held on 23rd July 2020 by KCS which is the tenth series of COVID-19 related webinars intended for clinicians and other healthcare providers in Kenya and the region handling cardiovascular patients within the context of the pandemic.

The course objectives include:

1. Serving as an educational aid and reference material for clinicians as well as healthcare workers managing patients who need the treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysms within the context of COVID-19.

2. Disseminate information and knowledge to health care workers on relevant issues related to Abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA), Thoracic aortic aneurysm (TAA), Endovascular aneurysmal repair (EVAR), Thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR), CT angiography (CTA), Endoleak amongst others.

The course includes recorded videos in lecture style, videos of practical skills.
