This course is a production of a recent live webinar held on 4th March 2021 by KCS which is the twenty-seventh series of COVID-19 related webinars intended for clinicians and other healthcare providers in Kenya regarding antiplatelet therapy in patients with coronary artery disease within the context of the pandemic.
The course objectives include:
1. Serving as an educational aid and reference material for clinicians as well as other healthcare workers on antiplatelet therapy.
2. Disseminate information and knowledge to health care workers regarding the identification of the key components for the management of anticoagulation and rhythm/rate control; management of inpatient, outpatient, and drug administration guidelines-prescribing, and dosage for several classes and types of anticoagulation drugs, including warfarin, heparin and direct thrombin inhibitors amongst others.
The course includes recorded videos in lecture style, videos of practical skills.
