Dr. MN Thareja, Immediate Past President, IMA Rajasthan welcomed all the panelists and participants and introduced both the speakers of the event. Dr. Thareja shared his insights on the importance of having CMEs around the topic: COVID and Mucormycosis. Dr. Satish Kumar Jain, Adjunct Professor NIMS University, Director and Chief consultant, Jain ENT Hospital, Sr. Consultant at Narayana Multispeciality Hospital & CKS Hospital started his session by thanking IMA Rajasthan, Mylan and MLH for inviting her to the platform as a speaker. Dr. Jain covered various topics on the topic such as:
Introduction.
Challenges in Mucormycosis Management.
MRI Scans.
Role of surgery in Mucormycosis.
Role of MRI.
CT scan v/s MRI

All the topics were covered in depth and were well explained.
