Module 2: Long terms effects of AML : Dr Revathi Raj, Senior Consultant - Paediatric Haematology Oncology, Apollo Cancer Centres, Chennai discussed about the long term effects in Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Key points of discussion were:

• How to identify/ follow-up
• Management of complications
• cGVHD
• Cardiomyopathy
• Concepts in treating childhood cancer

Module 4: Endocrine complications of AML and its treatment: Dr Soundaram V, Consultant Paediatric Endocrinologist, Apollo Children’s hospital and Apollo Proton Cancer Centres, Chennai talked about the endocrine complications of AML patients and how it can be managed. Key points of discussion were:

• Case discussion on endocrine complication
• short growth stature
• Assessment of endocrine complication
• Treatment of endocrine complication
• Puberty of girls suffering from AML
• Bone mineral density
• Metabolic syndrome

Module 5: Question and Answer: Several questions were all answered by Dr Revathi, Dr Pnni and Dr Soundaram.
