Module 1: Welcome and Introduction: Dr Mayuri from Medical Learning Hub welcomed the participants and introduced Dr. Nilesh Kurwale chief surgeon for the day.

Module 2: Debriefing of the case: Dr Nilesh described about the clinical condition of the patient. He explained patient’s MRI report. Dr Nilesh also shared the plan of surgery, how the incision and craniotomy will be done during the surgery.  Then Dr Meenakshi, anesthesiologist for the case explained about the other details of the case like medications, do’s and don’ts.                                    

Module 3: Live surgery: Dr Nilesh Kurwale performed the live surgery of Epilepsy, TPO disconnect. All the steps of the surgery were well explained and demonstrated.  During the surgery he explained about the anatomy of the brain, He explained about different parts of brain like gyrus, sulci, thalamus. Electrocorticography was done during and post-surgery to measure the brain waves. Spikes were explained. All the questions were answered by Dr Nilesh during the surgery. 

Module 4: Vote of Thanks: Ms Dolly Sudhir, General manager- Marketing - Altima - A Division of Intas Pharma shared vote of thanks and second poll was raised.
