- Fellowships are being conducted by the Department of Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy at Sri Aurobindo Medical College & PG Institute- An Institute of Repute spread across 60 acres of Land serving people of Central India since 2004.
- Sri Aurobindo hospital is a 1700 bedded NABH accredited hospital providing state of art specialty & super-specialty services.
- Availability of dedicated faculties from the fields of Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy with vast experience in clinical and academic arena.
- The department provides tertiary care treatment for various life threating dermatological conditions like Autoimmune Bullous Disorders (Pemphigus) and Severe Cutaneous Adverse Drug Reactions (SJS/TEN). We have facility for Institutional Immunofluorescence Studies (DIF/IIF) for diagnostic aid to dermatological disorders.
- Department has Central Lab with dedicated pathologist for Histopathology reporting (Yearly 800+) using DecaHead Nikon Microscope, gives the post graduate student a imbibe learning experience from expert faculties.
- Department has full-fledged laser armamentarium for various dermatological ailments. Dedicated lasers include Quadruple Wavelength DIODE for Laser Hair Reduction, Q-Switched Nd:YAG for Pigmentary disorders and Tattoo Removal, MNRF for Scar Revision and HIFU (High Frequency Focused Ultrasound) for Face and Body Contouring.
- Department also provides surgical treatment for various dermatological conditions like Vitiligo Surgeries, Nail Surgeries, Ear Lobe Repair,Scar Revision Surgeries.
- Department treats numerous congenital and acquired cutaneous disorders pertaining to pediatric age group with dedicated superspeciality support from pediatric department.
- The department is equipped with latest diagnostic modalities (Scalp Biopsy & Trichoscopy) and provides holistic approach for treatment of hair disorders.
