European Confederation of Medical Mycology (ECMM), Viatris and Medical Learning Hub welcome you to the online CME on "Uncommon Molds, Uncommon Challenges: Expanding the Mycological Differential" . This CME has been designed to address the growing concern of rare mold infections that are often overlooked in clinical practice.
The session will begin with an introduction and moderator’s address, setting the stage for a deep dive into uncommon molds. Dr. Prof. Martin Hoenigl will lead case-based discussions on clinically significant rare molds including Fusarium, Scedosporium, Lomentospora, and Schizophyllum commune, highlighting their diagnostic challenges, treatment complexities, and clinical outcomes.
Further the session includes a panel discussion with polling , where the Dr. Ashwini Tayade, Dr. Prof. Martin Hoenigl , Dr Deepak Govil, Dr. Nandini Sethuraman and Dr. Chintankumar Himmatbhai Kaswala will exchange insights on additional rare mold infections and their management. This interactive discussion will encourage participants to engage with experts and broaden their perspective on fungal differentials.
The program concludes with an open Q&A forum, giving attendees the opportunity to clarify doubts and share experiences, followed by a formal vote of thanks.
