Dr. Aditya Murali is a Senior Consultant – Medical Oncology, Hematology & Bone Marrow Transplant specialist at ASTER hospitals, Bengaluru. He completed his undergraduate training from Mangalore and post-graduate training in Internal Medicine from Madurai. During his post-graduation, he first developed an interest in cancer therapy, and he did his thesis research in the field of Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia. The pursuit of further specialization in Oncology led him to join the prestigious Adyar Cancer Institute for DM in Medical Oncology where he got the chance to work with some of the doyens in the field of Oncology like Dr. V.Shantha and Dr. T.G.Sagar. Upon completion of his Doctorate, Dr. Aditya Murali started his practice in Delhi, working at some of the top hospitals in South Delhi like MoolchandMedicity and Holy Family Hospital. Dr. Murali was instrumental in establishing the Oncology program at Sarvodaya Hospital, Faridabad including being part of the team which performed the 1st Haploidentical Bone Marrow Transplant in Faridabad. Dr. Murali has a vast experience in the treatment of Lung cancer, Breast Cancer, Ovarian Cancer, Lymphomas & Leukemias with over 5000 cases to his credit. Dr. Murali specializes in the field of Immunotherapy in lung cancer, Targeted therapies in the management of blood cancers. He is a bone cancer specialist with a strong interest in bone marrow transplantation, having received his training at the prestigious Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, USA.
Dr. Aditya Murali has more than ten publications in National and International Journals to his credit. His key areas of interest are Acute Myeloid Leukemia, Multiple Myeloma, Lung Cancer and Bone Marrow transplantation.
