She started her medical journey at Lady Harding Medical College New Delhi where she completed MBBS and then moved on to pursue post­ graduation in Internal Medicine at VMMC &Safdarjung Hospital New Delhi. She did her three yea rs' senior residency in the Department of Endocrinology, Safdarjung Hospital, and gained specialized training and vast experience in managing diabetes, thyroid, and other hormones related illness. She has been practicing endocrinology for more than a decade. Apart from extensive expertise in diabetes and diabetes-related complications her special area of interest is thyroid disorder, gestational diabetes (diabetes in pregnancy), PCOS, and disorders related to pituitary, adrenal, parathyroid.
