He is a M.D in Internal Medicine and have more than 12 years of experience in clinical care and treatment of HIV infected individuals in 3 private sector, tertiary level hospitals in Pune, Western India. For the last 12 years he have been involved in clinical and laboratory research related to HIV and TB diagnosis, prevention and treatment in the capacity of a Physician/Investigator. His areas of interest include HIV and the CNS; antiretroviral therapy related long term comorbidities, HIV associated Tuberculosis and Tropical infectious diseases.
