Dr. Sipho Nyathie is presently the Director of Health Programs for AQUITY Innovations where he designs programs that emphasize innovative-technology based solutions and assists in grant applications. He previously led a clinical and diagnostics team, designing a solution that improved access to TB and DR-TB services in various regions of the world, and helped strengthen clinical knowledge and experience in the management of MDR-TB. He is adept at developing partnerships for expanding the reach of TB and DR-TB services, and worked with the USAID TB Project Director and other bilateral program directors to plan and coordinate activities covering these services.
Dr. Sipho Nyathie graduated from the University of Cape Town with a bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery. He has a diploma in HIV/AIDS Management.
