Gwalior Obstetrics and Gynaecological Society (GOGS) is a member body of FOGSI, Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India, with head office in Mumbai. GOGS has 254 members and FOGSI has 37000 plus members.
GOGS conducts monthly academic and cultural and social meets. GOGS is committed to working for the well-being of women of our country by organizing awareness programs for them as well as giving them the best and latest treatment protocols. Our members are updated with the latest research work regularly through CME's and conferences organized from time to time at local, regional, state, and national levels.
The Gwalior Obstetrics and Gynaecological Society have had senior consultants and professors as presidents like Professor Leela Phatak, Dr. K V Wagh, P. Olyai, Dr. S.Sapre, Dr. Veena Agrawal, Dr. Ratna Kaul, Dr. Jyoti Bindal, Dr. Meena Mundra, Dr. Yashodhara Gaur, Dr. Archana Maurya, Dr. Kusum Singhal, Dr. Veera Lohia as presidents.
Dr. Urmila Tripathi as president and Dr. Achala Sahai as a secretary with their team of almost 30 members are working currently for the betterment of our doctor members as well as for the public and patients through organizing academic programs like CMEs, conferences, awareness programs, rallies, lab investigations, adolescent counseling, cancer detection camps, cultural, programs and many more.
