• Presented a paper on Role of fibreoptic bronchoscopy in Tuberculosis suspects with sputum smear negative status – role of tests like ZN staining, histopathology, PCR and culture which were conducted with co-operation of – Dr Golwilkar Laboratories Pvt Ltd and Poona Hospital and Research Center, Pune and authored by Dr Nitin Abhyankar, Pune, at NAPCon, Coimbatore, in November 2003. The paper has been given travel award by T.B.C.T.A.for poster presentation at the Conference of American Thoracic Society, San Diego California in May 2005 one of the 15 papers from all over the world to be so presented, and only one from India.
