Dr. Murali also has experience in specialized training in glaucoma, having observed under renowned experts like Prof. Ravi Thomas at CMC Vellore, Prof. Robert Ritch at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, and at SNEC Singapore. He completed a year-long fellowship in Community Ophthalmology at M N Eye Hospital. With 44 peer-reviewed publications, 10 book chapters, and edited works, including Practical Perimetry (first edition in 2016, second in 2023), he has contributed widely to glaucoma research and education. He has presented internationally and received numerous awards, including the FAICO (Glaucoma) in 2013 and the IJO Silver Award in 2022. Dr. Murali has been actively involved in public glaucoma awareness initiatives and significant research projects, including the CURES study and various clinical trials.
